Who doesn’t love pizza and ice cream?

Jump aboard our 14-passenger bus and dive right into the world of pizza and ice cream in RVA! We’ll visit three of Richmond’s best and favorite pizza spots AND three of our favorite ice cream parlors for a fun, filling, and heckuva delicious afternoon.

Try pizza made from a naturally-fermented sourdough crust, and taste the difference
Three different pizzas, three different pizza styles
Learn what makes New England-style ice cream unique
Visit an award-winning ice cream maker’s very first scoop shop
Be transported on our climate-controlled bus – you can even bring your own beverages aboard

We suggest bringing a bottle of water – we’re visiting places with the best pizza and ice cream, not necessarily the places with the largest dining room. This means that sometimes, we’ll visit take-out only spots that won’t seat guests or serve water.

Pizza & Ice Cream Tour FAQs

How does this tour compare to the others?

Most of our food tours are walking tours, but for this one, we’ll use our bus to get around town. There may be instances in which a short walk from the bus to the restaurant is required. Compare all our walking food tours here.

How much food is provided?

We’ll have a slice of pizza or a scoop of ice cream at each stop – totaling three of each. For almost everyone, there is plenty of food for a full meal. You certainly won’t want to eat immediately before or after the tour!

What if it rains? What if it’s cold outside?

The tour goes on! We can eat inside at most places, or in our bus in a pinch. But consider bringing an umbrella for short walks from the bus to the restaurants. Plus, did you know ice cream was originally invented as a winter-only food?

*if the weather is unsafe, the tour will be modified or cancelled and appropriate considerations regarding refunding/rescheduling will be taken.

Can I book a private tour outside of regular tour times?
