53 Richmond Restaurants Open On Mondays
Mondays are hard. And with lots of restaurants in Richmond closed on Monday, it can be difficult to find something delicious to make you forget what day it is. We don’t want Sunday Scaries to be a thing anymore, so here’s a list of 53 Richmond restaurants open on Mondays!*
This list is organized by hours open: all day, breakfast, lunch only, lunch and dinner, dinner only, and late night. We’ve also expanded on restaurants featured on our weekend food tours.
As you know, the restaurant scene is forever changing, so we’ll update it often, but we do acknowledge the possibility of something being listed incorrectly here. Just let us know!
*Please note this is not a comprehensive list of all open restaurants; there are plenty more open on Mondays!

Incredible sushi (and non-sushi) dishes, plus an impeccably decorated dining room to cure those Monday blues. Did we mention the sakes are delicious?
Mama J’s: 11 AM-9 PM (415 N 1st St)
Jackson Ward’s very own Mama J’s put Richmond on the food map, which means the lines are long to get a seat here. That’s one of the many reasons we love recommending Mama J’s for lunch – it’ll be a shorter wait for the incredible fried catfish and macaroni and cheese RVA has come to know and love! It’s the perfect spot to cure the weekend hangover.
Nokoribi: 11 AM-9 PM (1509 Belleville St)
Located inside The Veil Brewing in Scott’s Addition, Nokoribi offers incredible lunch options that pair well with a beer, or stand strong all by itself. The salmon crudo and avocado is the perfect Monday lunch to get you fueled for the week – it’s almost healthy enough to make up for the weekend!
